BY PARTICIPATING IN THE GIVEAWAY, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH CREATE A CONTRACT SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. WITHOUT LIMITATION, SUCH CONTRACT INCLUDES GRANTS OF RIGHTS AND INDEMNITIES TO INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION SYSTEM SECURITY CERTIFICATION CONSORTIUM, INC. (“ISC2”) FROM YOU, A CLASS ACTION WAIVER, AND A LIMITATION OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES.
SPONSOR: International Information System Security Certification Consortium, Inc. (“ISC2”), 625 N. Washington Street, Suite 400, Alexandria, VA 22314. Questions, comments, or complaints about the drawing must be directed to ISC2.
ELIGIBILITY: The drawing is open only to individuals who are legal residents of jurisdictions in which the drawing is lawful, are at least eighteen (18) years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence (whichever is older) at the time of entry, and are invited or otherwise authorized by ISC2 to complete the applicable JTA Survey (“Entrants”). Employees, officers, and directors of ISC2, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible. The drawing is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Fifteen (15) potential winners will be selected at random from all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period.
HOW TO ENTER: During the period beginning September 8, 2026, 9:00 a.m. ET and ending September 28, 2026, 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Entry Period”), an eligible Entrant must complete the volunteer form, and complete and submit the applicable ISC2 Job Task Analysis (“JTA”) Survey using the survey link provided by ISC2. A completed survey received during the Entry Period constitutes one (1) entry (“Entry”). Limit one (1) Entry per person, regardless of the number of times a person accesses or submits the survey. Incomplete, late, duplicate, automated, corrupted, or otherwise noncompliant Entries are void. Survey responses will not affect the odds of winning, and winners will be selected without regard to the substance of their responses. ISC2 is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or corrupted Entries or for technical failures that interfere with entry.
PRIZES: Fifteen (15) prizes will be awarded as follows: (a) five (5) grand prize winners will each receive one (1) AI Certification exam registration, (1) 1 enrollment into ISC2 AI Certification Training Course of choice and (1) registration for an AI Virtual Workshop of their choice (an estimated value of US $4,148); (b) five (5) 2nd place winners will each receive (1) AI Certification exam registration and (1) enrollment into ISC2 AI Certification Training course of their choice for a total market value up to US $3,249 (c) five (5) 3rd place winners will each receive enrollment in one (1) ISC2 AI Workshop of their choice (an estimated value of US $899. The specific title, format, schedule, delivery method, access period, and applicable terms for each prize will be determined by ISC2 and communicated to the applicable winner. Course and workshop prizes are subject to availability, scheduling, registration deadlines, attendance requirements, technical requirements, and any applicable program terms. Prizes are nontransferable, may not be resold, and have no cash value; no cash alternative or substitution is permitted except that ISC2 may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. Unless ISC2 expressly states otherwise, each winner may receive only one (1) prize package. Any costs not expressly included in a prize, and all applicable taxes and fees, are the winner’s sole responsibility.
HOW WINNERS WILL BE DETERMINED: On or about October 1, 2026, ISC2 will conduct a random drawing from all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period. ISC2 will randomly select five (5) potential winners for each of the three prize categories. Prize categories may be assigned in the order drawn or by another random method determined by ISC2. A potential winner will be notified using the contact information associated with the Entry within 10 business days after the drawing and may be required to confirm eligibility and execute and return an affidavit or declaration of eligibility, liability release, publicity release (where lawful), and any other reasonably required documentation within seven (7) days after notice. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within three (3) days after the first notification attempt, fails to respond or timely providing required documentation, is ineligible, declines the prize, or otherwise does not comply with these Official Rules, the potential winner will forfeit the prize and ISC2 may select an alternate potential winner by random drawing from the remaining eligible Entries. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received.
GENERAL: All applicable federal, state, provincial, local, and other laws and regulations apply. By entering, each Entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and ISC2’s decisions, which are final and binding on matters relating to the drawing. ISC2 may verify eligibility, survey completion, and compliance with these Official Rules; disqualify any Entrant who tampers with or abuses the entry process, uses automated or fraudulent means, submits false information, or otherwise interferes with the lawful operation of the drawing; and cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the drawing if fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, legal requirements, or circumstances beyond ISC2’s reasonable control impair its integrity or administration. If the drawing is terminated early, ISC2 may select winners from eligible, non-suspect Entries received before termination. If fewer than fifteen (15) eligible Entries are received, ISC2 may award fewer than fifteen (15) prizes. Any unclaimed or forfeited prize may remain unawarded where permitted by law.
By submitting an Entry, Entrant agrees to (a) release ISC2 its respective directors, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by (i)Entrant’s participation in the Giveaway or any Giveaway-related activity, including the unauthorized or illegal access to personally identifiable or sensitive information or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize; (ii) any Giveaway entities sponsorship or administration of the Giveaway; (iii) the fraudulent activities of Entrants, or events requiring a cancellation or postponement of the Giveaway; (iv) lost, late, intercepted, incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate, delayed, illegible, garbled, damaged, or misdirected Entries or Entries not otherwise received by ISC2; (v) technical, hardware or software malfunctions, failed or unavailable network connections, or delayed electronic or other communications, or other technical problems related to website entries; (vi) Entrant’s and/or any third party’s use, sale or disposal of the prize; (vii) any use of your Entry, photo or likeness; or (vii) other errors, difficulties or impediments of any kind, whether human, electrical or technical in nature, relating to or in connection with the Giveaway, its administration, the processing of Entries, or announcement of the prizes or winners. (b) Assume sole liability and accept all risk of loss for injuries, including personal injuries and/or damage to property, caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Giveaway or the acceptance, possession, shipping and handling, loss, use or misuse of any prize awarded. (c) unless prohibited by law, grant ISC2 and its affiliates and agents, the right, without limitation or further permission or compensation, to use and publish your name, likeness, and entry for promotional, advertising, publicity, and marketing purposes in any manner in commerce and in any medium now known or hereafter devised without limitation and without further notice in perpetuity. ISC2 may require you to execute documents to confirm the grant of rights hereunder. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. ISC2 accepts no responsibility or liability for actions of Entrants, including those in violation of these Official Rules.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND ISC2 RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW. ISC2 has the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Giveaway, or any portion, if in ISC2’s sole opinion, it has been compromised, corrupted, or cannot be completed as planned due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures, or other conditions beyond ISC2 control, including, without limitation, insufficient volume of eligible entries, and to select potential winner(s) for the Giveaway from eligible, non-suspect entries for such Giveaway received on or before the termination date.
GOVERNING LAW / DISPUTES: This Giveaway shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of Virginia or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Virginia. BY ENTERING THE GIVEAWAY, EACH ENTRANT AGREES THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE GIVEAWAY, OR THE PRIZE, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, (IF ANY), NOT TO EXCEED ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1,800.00), BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED; AND (4) ENTRANTS’ REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND ENTRANT IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF.
ENTRANTS’ PERSONAL INFORMATION: ISC2 will use personal information collected in connection with the drawing to administer the drawing, verify eligibility, contact potential winners, fulfill prizes, comply with legal obligations, and as otherwise described in ISC2’s Privacy Policy at https://www.isc2.org/privacy-policy.aspx. Survey responses may be analyzed separately for JTA research and program-development purposes in accordance with notices presented with the survey. Personal information may be shared with service providers and other parties as reasonably necessary to administer the drawing and fulfill prizes.
