The Center for Cyber Safety and Education, the charitable arm of ISC2, greatly impacts the future of the cybersecurity industry thanks to the support of ISC2, donors and sponsors. As the year comes to a close and we enter the season of giving, consider giving a gift of support to the Center and impact generations of cyber professionals to come.
In 2023 alone, the Center awarded scholarships to 71 recipients in 12 countries and provided funding for 140 people to reach their Certified in Cybersecurity certification goals. Providing scholarships and access to resources provides an equitable opportunity for those who need extra help to join the cybersecurity industry and help create a safe and secure cyber world for us all.
Leaving a lasting legacy to impact others is precisely what the family and friends of Samantha Jennings-Jones did in her memory. The tragedy of losing Samantha, a successful cybersecurity professional, at a young age inspired her colleagues, friends and family to create the Samantha Jennings-Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund to impact the next generation of women professionals in her name. The inaugural scholarship, as well as several other scholarships, opens on January 15th.
Hear directly from scholarship recipients in this brief appreciation video. Scholarships truly make a difference in the lives of the recipients, including Kwadjo Nyante who is quick to return the favor to give back to the industry and impact the next generation of cybersecurity professionals as a scholarship reviewer. Hear more about Kwadjo’s journey to cybersecurity including earning multiple master's degrees, as well as his CISSP before becoming a CISO, a journey supported by scholarships from the Center.
In 2024, the Center continues to work to build a global cyber community for good and increase the diverse pipeline of cybersecurity professionals in the industry around the globe! With your financial support and your time volunteering, the Center can achieve these goals to build their programs and reach more people.
New this year, it is now easier than ever to financially support the Center. You can easily give a donation of any amount alongside your ISC2 Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF) payment when you checkout or give at iamcybersafe.org/s/give.
