Meet ISC2 Instructor Meng-Chow Kang

Meng-Chow Kang, CISSP

Meng-Chow is a practicing professional with over 30 years in various cyber security roles across different industries, including the Singapore government, major multi-national financial institutions, logistics and shipping companies, and global security and technology providers.

He is the author of "Responsive Security—Be ready to be Secure", published by CRC Press in 2013. Meng-Chow has been an Adjunct Associate Professor with NTU since 2014, and a Smart Nation Fellow of the Government Technology Agency of Singapore since 2022. His current research and professional practices include AI/ML related data privacy and cybersecurity governance, policy, management and implementation strategy. 

Meng-Chow was a member of the International Cybersecurity Advisory Panel (CSAP) of Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) (2019 to 2023), and Ministry of Health, Singapore (2020 to 2022). He was Board Director for ISC2 in 2015-2017. Meng-Chow has also held various standards chair and co-chair positions in Singapore ITSC, ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27, and ITU-T SG17, and founded the Regional Asia Information Security Exchange (RAISE) Forum in 2004.
