This course provides a scenario-based exercise in which learners evaluate and make software architecture decisions for AI-enabled systems using both AI-generated recommendations and human judgment.
Learners are placed in the role of a software architect and must assess architectural options across key domains, including data design, human oversight, audit mechanisms and governance approaches. The experience emphasizes that AI tools can assist in generating and comparing architectural options, but final decisions must remain human-led and aligned with organizational risk tolerance, regulatory expectations and compliance obligations.
Learning Experience:
This course is intended for software development and cybersecurity professionals who participate in, influence or evaluate software architecture and security design decisions, particularly where AI is used as a decision-support tool. Learners should have a foundational understanding of software architecture and security principles.
Learners have 60 days from the date of purchase to complete the entire course. Those who successfully complete this course will receive a digital Validation of Completion and earn continuing professional education (CPE) credits.
