AI-Driven Data Discovery and Sensitive Asset Inventory Course

AI systems do not wait for inventory to catch up. This course covers how to identify the sensitive data AI is collecting, processing and retaining across an environment and how to build a classification and governance posture that holds up when tested.

Most asset inventories were built for environments that look nothing like an AI-enabled infrastructure. Data moves through ML pipelines, crosses cloud regions and feeds models before classification controls have been applied or sovereignty requirements have been evaluated. This course works through that problem directly.
Practitioners start by mapping where AI adoption creates data and asset blind spots, then work through the integrity risks that accumulate across the AI life cycle from collection through destruction. It addresses the capabilities and limits of AI-enabled discovery tools, the specific challenges of identifying and classifying sensitive data before it enters an ML pipeline, and the privacy and jurisdictional risks that emerge when AI processes data across multiple cloud regions. The final section focuses on defensible decision-making: selecting classification controls, integrating technical mitigations like differential privacy and data masking, and framing an AI data risk management approach that satisfies both security and privacy mandates.
Learning Experience:
This course is designed for data security architects, security engineers, privacy engineers, data governance leads, cloud security architects and compliance officers responsible for managing data and asset risk in environments where AI systems are active or being adopted. It is also relevant to security leaders who set AI risk management policy and are tasked with ensuring those decisions are auditable and defensible. Applicable certifications include CISSP, CCSP and ISSMP.
Learners have 60 days from the date of purchase to complete the entire course.
