This committee is established to seek out qualified candidates for the Board, Board Officers and Center Trustees. Responsibilities of the committee include:

  1. Evaluate candidates as to their experience, intent, availability and desire to serve.
  2. Present a board slate for review and approval by the board.
  3. Assist the Center for Cyber Safety and Education by recommending a slate of Trustees.
  4. Oversee the Board director and Board officer election processes.
  5. Once elections are completed and results are known, notify all candidates and the board of prevailing candidates.
  6. Regularly review and ensure Board director and officer job descriptions are up-to-date and accurate.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by the Board Chair associated with ensuring a full slate.

Committee Updates

The 2025 Open Call for Nominations for members to stand for election to the 2026–28 ISC2 Board of Directors has concluded. Thank you to all those who participated. We received 192 applications that met the basic requirements for consideration.

After evaluating all the applications against the published job description, the Nominations Committee selected 10 individuals for interviews over the March 28-30 weekend. From this list, at the recommendation of the Nominations Committee, the Board of Directors presents the following candidates to be considered by members for election:

  • Laurie-Anne Bourdain, CISSP (Belgium)
  • Chitra Dharmarajan, CISSP, CCSP (United States)
  • Mari Galloway, CISSP (United States)
  • David Mussington, CISSP (United States)
  • Guy Hermann Ngambeket, CISSP (Qatar) 

There are four open Board seats. These five candidates have received the endorsement of the entire Board. Their biographies and platforms can be found on the Board of Directors Candidates page.

Electronic balloting will open on July 9 at 8:00 a.m. ET and close on July 23 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
