Committee Updates

Nominations for the 2027 ISC2 Board of Directors open January 26, 2026, launching the first phase of the annual Board election cycle.

Eligible ISC2 members in good standing may self-nominate for consideration by the Nominations Committee between January 26 and February 25, 2026. Members must be in good standing as of January 26, 2026, and remain so through the start of the election on July 14, 2026. ISC2 candidates, associates and fellows are not eligible.

During the nominations phase, the Nominations Committee will review and evaluate all eligible applications. From this process, a final slate of qualified candidates will be presented to ISC2 members for a vote later in the election cycle.

The ISC2 Board of Directors plays a critical role in guiding the organization by:

  • Providing strategic direction, governance and oversight
  • Developing policies and procedures
  • Granting certifications
  • Enforcing the ISC2 Code of Ethics

To submit your application, visit your ISC2 Member Dashboard and click “Nominate Yourself for the Board of Directors Election.”

All nominations will be reviewed by the ISC2 Board of Directors Nominations Committee. This process is a ‘best practice’ in member-led governing Boards and a common practice at this level of global organizations.
