Since 2007, ISLA Asia-Pacific has been recognizing cyber, information, software and infrastructure security professionals, educators and management throughout the Asia-Pacific region for their outstanding leadership and achievements in workforce improvement and promoting public awareness of the challenges of cybersecurity.
“Given the increasing sophistication of cyberattacks and the shortage of qualified cybersecurity professionals, it’s more important than ever to recognize those who are going above and beyond to protect Asia-Pacific’s most critical digital assets,” said Clayton Jones, managing director, Asia-Pacific, (ISC)². “The reputation of this regional recognition program has grown tremendously and we’re proud to put a spotlight on those who are actively working to shape the cybersecurity workforce of the future. I encourage anyone who knows of a deserving cybersecurity professional to submit a nomination.”
The Nomination Review Committee comprised of senior cybersecurity experts from the (ISC)² Asia-Pacific Advisory Council as well as previous ISLA honorees, will review and select honorees from the four categories based upon the selection criteria and eligibility requirements. To nominate a candidate for an ISLA Asia-Pacific, please visit https://www.conferenceabstracts.com/cfp2/login.asp?Reviewer=&EventKey=GIUXTJIM and complete the submission form. The deadline for nominations is close of business on April 3, 2018. For more information about the ISLA Asia-Pacific nomination, please visit https://www.isc2.org/About/Award-Programs#asia.
