Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) of Thailand Co-hosts (ISC)² Security Congress APAC 2016

Songporn Komolsuradej, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology of Thailand to Address at the Keynote of Security Congress APAC

 

      Bangkok/Hong Kong, July 5, 2016(ISC)²® (“ISC-squared”) today announced that its Security Congress APAC 2016 will be co-hosted with the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (Public Organization) (ETDA), Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT) of Thailand. Songporn Komolsuradej, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology of Thailand will be the guest of honor and keynote speaker for Security Congress APAC 2016.  The 11th annual regional Congress will be held July 25-26 at Centara Grand at CentralWorld in Bangkok, Thailand, and organized by (ISC)² in partnership with Image Engine Pte. Ltd.

ETDA Chief Executive Officer Surangkana Wayuparb says, “We are pleased and honored to collaborate with an internationally renowned security certification body, (ISC)² to co-host the Security Congress APAC 2016 in Bangkok. Themed as ‘Advancing Security Leaders,’ (ISC)² Security Congress APAC will include the following six tracks:

 --Student Track (This track is especially designed for university undergraduate and graduate students)

(ISC)² Security Congress APAC is a platform for information security professionals to share their knowledge and to stay up-to-date on emerging issues, trends and technologies. The supporting organizations of Security Congress APAC 2016 will include the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and CIO 16th Association of Thailand (CIO16). CIO16 is chaired by Kumpol Sontanarat, Director of Information and Communication Technology Department, Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand.
