Discover the latest trends, technologies and threats shaping cybersecurity at ISC2 SECURE London 2025, where industry leaders and professionals come together for a day of insight, innovation and collaboration.
Staying ahead in cybersecurity means constantly learning and adapting. ISC2 SECURE London 2025, taking place on 19 November at Convene, 200 Aldersgate, St Paul’s, London, brings together cybersecurity professionals, thought leaders and industry experts for a one-day in-person event designed to position you ahead of today’s evolving threats.
Now in its fourth year and hosted in partnership with the ISC2 London Chapter, SECURE London delivers actionable insights across critical topics such as artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies, data security, third-party risk, leadership and career development, quantum computing, and the broader challenges shaping the cyber landscape today.
What to Expect
The day kicks off with registration and networking coffee, giving attendees an early opportunity to connect with other ISC2 members and industry leaders. The event then moves into a series of expert-led sessions that explore the most pressing issues in cybersecurity.
Opening Keynote
Helen Rabe, CISO at the BBC, will open the day with Adapting Your Cyber Blueprint to Your Organisation’s Business Needs. She will examine how cybersecurity frameworks can be customized to align with organizational objectives, cultural dynamics and operational realities. Attendees will learn how to identify the non-negotiables of a cybersecurity strategy while building partnerships across the organization to ensure effective execution.
Trust but Verify: Third-Party Risk
Deborah Saffer, Director of Information Security at Liberty Specialty Markets, will guide participants through practical approaches to third-party due diligence. This session covers strategies to manage supplier and partner risk, an increasingly critical area as organizations operate in complex ecosystems.
AI Security Risks and Opportunities
In Flirting with AI: Pwning Websites Through Their AI Chatbot Agents and Politely Breaking Guardrails, Ken Munro and Ross Donald from Pen Test Partners demonstrate the security risks of AI chatbot adoption and explore vulnerabilities that can be exploited if safeguards aren’t properly implemented. Following this, Stephen Green, Regional VP at Concentric AI, presents GenAI: A Generational Paradigm Shift Redefining Data Security, diving into the opportunities and risks generative AI introduces, from data exposure to regulatory compliance.
Career and Leadership Insights
Liz Banbury, CISSP, CISO at Thames Water, will share her experience in From Cash to Splash: How I Navigated My Career Transition, discussing how cybersecurity professionals can adapt their skills across industries, from finance to critical infrastructure, while navigating sector-specific challenges. Later, Robert Black, Director of the UK Cyber Leaders Challenge, explores the competencies and skills tomorrow’s cybersecurity leaders need in Operating in Complexity, Acting in Uncertainty.
Emerging Threats Panel
A multi-speaker panel, featuring Craig Rice, CISSP, CEO of Cyber Defence Alliance; David Boda, CISSP, Chief Security and Resilience Officer, Nationwide Building Society; Sarah Michaels, Head of Threat Intelligence, Nationwide Group; and Matt Rowe, CSO, Lloyds Banking Group, will examine the evolving threat landscape. Topics include geopolitical risks, adversarial AI, quantum computing impacts and supply chain vulnerabilities.
