On September 24, 2025, the lush greens of Deer Creek Golf Club in Toronto will come alive with more than just the sound of drives and putts. The 5th Annual Golf 4 Cyber Safety Tournament invites golfers, community leaders, and supporters to rally around a critical cause: funding the Center for Cyber Safety and Education in its mission to create a safer, more secure digital world for everyone.

The Center for Cyber Safety and Education is the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of ISC2, the world’s leading member organization of cybersecurity professionals. The Center makes a difference in communities worldwide by educating the public on cyber safety, raising awareness of cyber career options, providing scholarships and support to pursue or further a career in cybersecurity and assisting small organizations to protect themselves from cyber risk.

This annual tradition has grown into one of the Center’s most anticipated events. Every dollar raised on the course fuels programs that educate children, families, and communities about the importance of online safety in an increasingly connected world and helps grow the cybersecurity profession.

“Golf 4 Cyber Safety is more than a tournament—it’s a direct investment in protecting people of all ages from online threats,” said Greg Thompson, CISSP, Toronto area cybersecurity leader and immediate past chair of the Center Board of Trustees. “Events like this tournament not only provide essential funding but also bring together a network of advocates who share a common vision of a safe and secure cyber world.”
