Four global security leaders to help lead the direction, strategy and growth of ISC2

Alexandria, Va., July 11, 2024 – ISC2 – the world’s leading nonprofit member organization for cybersecurity professionals – today announced the results of its 2024 Board of Directors election. The newly elected individuals will begin their three-year term of voluntary service on January 1, 2025.

The four ISC2 members elected to the ISC2 Board of Directors include:

  • Shannon Brewster, CISSP (United States)
  • Darren Gallop, CISSP (Canada)
  • James Packer, CISSP, CCSP (United Kingdom)
  • Daisy Radford, CISSP (Singapore)

“The ISC2 Board of Directors represents 675,000 members, candidates and associates and shapes the strategic direction and governance of the association. We are thrilled to welcome our four incoming Board members for 2025 and look forward to their perspectives, ideas and experiences as we guide the association forward in 2025 and beyond,” said ISC2 Board Chair Dan Houser. “These new Board members contribute to our diversity of expertise, gender and location, making them strong additions to the ISC2 Board as we help our members navigate the evolving challenges of the cybersecurity industry. Elected by ISC2 members, the Board of Directors is comprised of ISC2-certified cybersecurity professionals and leaders from around the world with expertise in securing and managing risk for academic institutions, government agencies and businesses of all sizes across all sectors. The all-volunteer Board of ISC2 members provides governance and oversight for the organization, establishes requirements for and grants certifications to qualifying candidates, and enforces adherence to the ISC2 Code of Ethics.
