(ISC)² CISSP Online Pilot Exam Frequently Asked Questions
(ISC)² is committed to exploring how we can make our certification exams as accessible as possible while maintaining our security standards and the integrity of our certification programs. Building upon what we learned during the 2021 online proctored pilot test, we are launching a second online proctored pilot test. Your participation will help us validate the feasibility of online exam proctoring in the future.
The 2022 online proctoring pilot test for CISSP will be conducted February 28 – March 14, 2022. We expect this assessment to take approximately 8-10 weeks. No exam results will be given at the time of examination. All results for all participants will be held until after all assessments are completed which is not expected until May 2022.
Candidates who participate in the pilot program will be notified of their official results via email upon conclusion of the assessment of all pilot exams. The endorsement process, which normally takes four to six weeks, cannot begin for online proctor participants until after the results have been verified and delivered to test takers. Therefore, participants can expect the full certification process to take up to 16 weeks.
The security and integrity of our examinations are of the utmost importance to (ISC)². If the 2022 online proctoring pilot test for CISSP needs to be terminated for any reason, all remaining undelivered appointments will be rescheduled for standard test center. No refunds will be provided for appointments that are changed from the online proctoring pilot to standard test center delivery.
Any determination regarding potential online proctoring as part of a regular (ISC)² offering will take place after the conclusion of this assessment.
