    (ISC)² Examination Score Review and Other Complaint Process

    From time to time you may have questions regarding your examination score or other decisions made by (ISC)² regarding your membership status.  Listed below are the most common questions (ISC)² receives regarding examination scoring and other processes:

    • Examination Score Review and Item Questions: No re-scoring of your examination is available.For questions regarding exam items and content, please use the Contact Us online form and select “Complaint” as the topic.You must be prepared to present a cogent, vigorous, and compelling defense of your incorrect responses.As a reminder, public discussion of specific exam items or content is not allowed due to the NDA and (ISC)² Code of Ethics.

    • Continuing Professional Education (CPE): All questions regarding your submission of CPE’s or (ISC)²’s CPE requirements should follow the process detailed in our CPE Policies & Guidelines

    • Reinstatement of Certification: Contact Member Services to discuss the steps needed to reactivate your certification.

    • (ISC)² Candidate Background Qualifications: Candidates are required to respond to four ethics related questions prior to taking the test. If any of the questions are answered “Yes,” candidates may not be eligible to earn (ISC)² certification and are advised to resolve any potential eligibility issues prior to scheduling the exam by contacting the legal team at legal@isc2.org

    • If you are de-certified for ethical violation or have any other ethics related issues, you must contact (ISC)² by submitting an email request to legal@isc2.org or by writing to:
