ISC2 Authorized Instructor Program – Current Status

Thank you for your interest in becoming an ISC2 Authorized Instructor. Currently, we are not accepting new applications for the Direct Instructor Program. However, we welcome expressions of interest from qualified professionals who would like to be considered when future opportunities become available.

Instructor Pathways
1. Direct Instructor

Teach ISC2 courses delivered directly by ISC2
Independent contractor role
Must follow ISC2’s instructor onboarding and quality assurance processes
Onboarding of new instructors is currently paused

2. Partner Instructor

Teach ISC2 courses through an Official Training Partner (OTP)
Hired and managed by the partner organization
Must follow ISC2’s instructor onboarding and quality assurance processes

Qualifications for all ISC2 Authorized Direct and Partner Instructors

Be an ISC2 member in good standing
Hold ISC2 certification(s) corresponding to the ISC2 certification course being taught (this includes a CC to teach CC)
Have 5+ years’ experience conducting technical training in corporate/ academic classrooms, small groups, or live-online environments
Have not have participated in the preparation of any ISC2 exam-related content/ISC2 exam item writing for the past two (2) years
Hold a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science/Technology or Cyber Security, plus a minimum of 4 years equivalent experience OR be an Information Security Professional with significant (15+ years) experience and a background in cyber security

Direct Instructor Candidates accepted to the ISC2 Authorized Instructor Program must complete a multi-step onboarding process designed to ensure instructional quality and alignment with ISC2 standards.
