Purpose
Help your community be safe and security online by giving presentations to youth, college students, parents and adults/senior citizens using the Center for Cyber Safety and Education materials available online. The types of presentations available are:
- Youth
- College Students
- Parents
- Adults/Senior Citizens
Responsibilities
- Sign-up using the volunteer sign-up form
- Complete a volunteer agreement and training
- Pass a background check
- Choose your audience
- Download the materials
- Contact your community organization
- Practice and present!
- Submit CPE credits by filling out the post-presentation survey

Skills Required
- Passion for cyber safety education
- Desire to give back
- Cybersecurity, information security, IT knowledge/experience

Training
Self-training materials are available online.
Time Requirement
Typically, two hours to prepare for the first presentation.
Standard presentation is 1 hour in duration.
Travel Requirement
Travel to presentation site required if in-person; however, presentations can be done virtually.

CPE Credit(s)
Group A:
- 1 CPE per hour of preparation for the presentation (2 CPE credits max)
- 1 CPE per hour per presentation
CPE Submission Process
Fill out the post-presentation survey that can be found on The Center's website.
