Upcoming (ISC)²® Training Seminars for Information Security Professionals offered at USF
Industry certification review courses to meet today's cybersecurity training needs
TAMPA, Fla. (May 9, 2014) ─ As part of the University of South Florida's Cybersecurity Initiative to strengthen the knowledge of information security professionals, USF Continuing Education is collaborating with (ISC)², the largest not-for-profit membership body of certified information and software security professionals worldwide, to offer cybersecurity industry exam study courses and examinations at the Tampa campus.
Upcoming programs include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP®), the Certified Authorization Professional (CAP®), and the Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP®). Recently, the CISSP credential was named "Best Professional Certification Program" by the 2014 SC Magazine Awards.
As an (ISC)² Global Academic Program member, USF Continuing Education offers quality instructor-led training reviews to provide students and professionals an opportunity to gain the most sought-after certifications in today's information security industry. Participants will receive the complete (ISC)² common body of knowledge (CBK®) as part of their training materials, and a student discounted certification exam voucher that can be used for the testing site located at the university.
The following classes can be taken at USF Tampa or completely online:
• CISSP CBK Training Seminar Online, Saturdays, June 21 – July 26
• CAP CBK Training Seminar, Monday through Friday, June 23 – June 27
• CSSLP CBK Training Seminar, Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 15 – Aug. 14
• SSCP CBK Training Seminar Online, Saturdays, Aug. 9 – Sept. 13
• CISSP CBK Training Seminar, Saturdays, Sept. 13 – Oct. 11
