David Shearer Photo

David Shearer, CISSP, Chief Executive Officer  

Mr. Shearer has more than 30 years of business experience including the chief operating officer for (ISC)², associate chief information officer for International Technology Services at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the deputy chief information officer at the U.S. Department of the Interior, and the executive for architecture, engineering and technical services at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Shearer has been responsible for managing and providing services via international IT infrastructures, and he has implemented large-scale SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects. Mr. Shearer has led large geographically separated staffs that support global solutions. Mr. Shearer holds a B.S. from Park College, a M.S. from Syracuse University, management and technical certificates from the U.S. National Defense University, and he is a U.S. federal executive presidential rank award recipient. As (ISC)² Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Shearer is responsible for the overall direction and management of the organization and its Center for Cyber Safety and Education.

 Wesley Simpson

Wesley Simpson, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Simpson has more than 25 years of business experience including positions in IT, product management, policy and procedure development, budgeting, vendor negotiations, and client development and relationships for Turner Broadcasting System, Delta Airlines, Bank of America, IBM and Fidelity Investments. Mr. Simpson has been responsible for leading the development of IT organizations and global services, while also working in the field of software development and digital asset management for various Fortune 500 companies. As COO, Mr. Simpson oversees the operational aspects of contracts with all business partners, collaborates with the Chief Executive Officer and senior management to support (ISC)² programs and services, and is responsible for the development and implementation of a business template for the regional offices. Mr. Simpson holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts and various technical certifications.
 Debra Taylor 2016

Debra Taylor, Chief Financial Officer 

Ms. Taylor has more than 30 years of business experience including positions as Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller and CFO of the America’s Operations for the former global public company Danka Business Systems PLC. Ms. Taylor has extensive business experience in accounting, finance, acquisitions and mergers. She directed all financial and operational reporting and results along with the re-engineering of the infrastructure and controls of the key business processes at Danka Business Systems PLC. Prior to working with Danka she was the Western Regional Business Manager for Storer Communications, Inc. and Assistant Controller for J. R. Norton Company. At (ISC)² Ms. Taylor is responsible for all financial and management reporting, executing the budgeting process, overseeing investments, all human resource functions, and operating as the Contract Officer. Ms Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University. She is a former Board Member and Finance Chair of Goodwill-Industries Suncoast. Ms. Taylor also serves as the CFO for (ISC)²’s Center for Cyber Safety and Education.
Graham Jackson

Graham Jackson, General Counsel

Mr. Jackson joined (ISC)² in 2013. He serves as an agent for (ISC)² in regards to all legal matters, liabilities and rights. Mr. Jackson’s duties include overseeing domestic and international corporate reporting and compliance with government regulations; the registration and protection of (ISC)² intellectual property; drafting and negotiating transactional documents; managing (ISC)²’s outside counsel and developing strategy for litigation; and overseeing the (ISC)² Board of Directors elections. He also works closely with the business teams to identify positive outcomes for (ISC)² and its members and partners around the world. Mr. Jackson holds a Juris Doctor and Master of Accountancy from Samford University, as well as a B.B.A in Accounting and B.A. in History from the University of Georgia. He is a member of the Florida Bar.

Casey Marks

Dr. Casey Marks, Vice President, Professional Programs Office

Dr. Marks serves as the lead executive developing psychometrically sound and legally defensible information security certifications that advance the mission and vision of (ISC)². With 20 years of experience in large-scale assessment, he has published and presented extensively and is recognized as an expert on issues related to adoption and vendor transition of Computer-Based-Testing for high-stakes, large-scale testing programs, international program expansion and examination security. Dr. Marks has a long history of involvement and volunteer service with testing related organizations such as American Education Research Association (AERA); American National Standards Institute (ANSI); Council on Licensure, Education, and Regulation (CLEAR); Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE); International Test Commission (ITC); and the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME). Dr. Marks served as an invited expert for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Working Group for the Revision of ISO/IEC 17024 and is a past president of the Association of Test Publishers (ATP). Dr. Marks holds a B.S. degree from the University of Illinois, a PhD in Measurement, Evaluation and Statistical Analysis from the University of Chicago and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE).

Brian Correia, Director of Business Development, North America

Mr. Correia is responsible for all business development aspects of the (ISC)² North America Region. He is responsible for building new relationships and driving opportunities, as well as supporting U.S. and Canadian members, customers and strategic partners. Brian has more than 20 years of business experience, including positions in sales, event management, business development, contracts and marketing. Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from James Madison University in Virginia.
Patrick Craven

Patrick Craven, Director, Center for Cyber Safety and Education

Patrick Craven has over 30 years of experience working within the non-profit industry and has held various C-Level executive leadership roles across the country at notable charitable organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and the Boy Scouts of America. As Director for the Center for Cyber Safety and Education, he is responsible for all business operations, supporting the Board of Trustees, service delivery, providing leadership to employees and volunteers, managing multiple income streams,overseeing marketing and business development functions, new program development and liaising with external agencies. Mr. Craven has been successful across the country developing innovative and award-winning marketing,advertising, sales, management and fundraising programs. He has a BS in Communication from Xavier University (Cincinnati, OH).

Dr. Adrian Davis, CISSP, Managing Director, EMEA

Dr. Davis heads the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) team for (ISC)². His responsibilities include developing and implementing a strategy for the EMEA region, working with the EMEA Advisory Council and supporting the (ISC)² global vision and mission. Within EMEA, Adrian is also responsible for building relationships, driving new opportunities and supporting the marketing, PR and communications function to develop and maintain (ISC)² brands and support both business development and member service objectives. Before joining (ISC)², Adrian worked for the Information Security Forum, where he led the Leadership and Management group within the Global Team. His prior experience includes international project management, the creation and implementation of project and programme offices, risk management and strategy formulation. Adrian has a Chemistry PhD from the University of London and an MBA from Durham Business School; he is a Chartered IT Professional, a Member of the British Computer Society and holds a Certificate in Information Security Management Principles.

Jessica Hardy, Director, Customer Experience

Mrs. Hardy leads the Customer Experience team overseeing the membership, communication, marketing, brand, and digital teams. She is responsible for developing the growth, brand, customer experience, online and communication strategies for (ISC)2. Jessica is a highly creative marketing, multi-media and events leader with more than 15 years of solid results-oriented marketing experience. She is skilled in developing teams and solutions to drive sales and attendance, attracting and maintaining customers, and building robust membership marketing loyalty programs. She holds a B.S. degree from University of South Florida and is a Certified Scrum Product Owner.
Jeff Highman

Jeff Highman, Director, Transformation Program Office

Mr. Highman plans and directs all aspects of (ISC)²’s technical infrastructure, assesses new business requirements and integrates those requirements into the organization’s overall infrastructure. As director of IT Services and Solutions, he is responsible for the achievement of all short- and long-term departmental goals as well as the development and implementation of the global IT strategy. Jeff has 20 years of experience spanning strategy, delivery and organizational change management for large-scale organizations. He is an experienced practitioner of agile delivery methods, which help organizations bridge the gap between innovation and execution. His experience spans a broad range of IT services, from federal systems to commercial and cloud-based products. Jeff’s work at the United States Patent and Trademark Office transformed the patent process from paper-based operations to a digital end-to-end process. For Amtrak, he spearheaded the domestic rollout of an integrated voice, video and data network for national rail security. At United States Citizen Immigration Services, Jeff was influential in redefining the software development lifecycle, leading the organizational change from waterfall to agile. Most recently, he pioneered the development and launch of a commercial SaaS product called Identrix.
Clayton Jones, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific

Clayton Jones, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific

Mr. Jones has been involved in the professional education services industry for more than a decade in the U.S. and Asia.  His experience spans business unit management, and mergers and acquisitions, including corporate restructuring.  Based at (ISC)² regional headquarters in Hong Kong, he is responsible for the overall operations of (ISC)² in the region and supporting the organization's vision.  Clayton has led the establishment of (ISC)² offices in Japan, China and most recently India.  He also works with different government agencies and corporations advising on workforce development within the information security profession.  He is a regular speaker at information security events in India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines and Hong Kong.  Clayton has a B.Com from Calcutta University and a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management (Calcutta).  In April 2009, Clayton received the Membership Growth and Support Award during the (ISC)² 20th Anniversary Founders Celebration in recognition of his contributions to the development and growth of (ISC)² credentials and the profession in the Asia-Pacific region.

Dan Waddell, CISSP, CAP, PMP, Managing Director, North America

Mr. Waddell is responsible for managing operations in the North America Region, which primarily focuses on supporting U.S. and Canadian members, customers and strategic partners. He also leads all U.S. government affairs activities and is the primary (ISC)² official responsible for interacting with public sector entities (i.e. federal, state and local governments); major corporations; universities and other higher education institutions; and professionalization organizations throughout the U.S. Mr. Waddell serves as the principal point of contact for various trade associations; public interest groups and other entities focused on information security and information security workforce issues. He has over 20 years of experience in information technology, information assurance, and cybersecurity, with over 15 of those years in management. Mr. Waddell has been a featured guest speaker on cybersecurity issues on both TV and radio shows such as “NBC News4 Midday,” “Government Matters” and “Federal News Radio,” in addition to several cybersecurity conferences across the United States. He is currently a Fellow at the Institute of Critical Infrastructure Technology (ICIT), a non-partisan think-tank based in Washington, D.C. that acts as a conduit between the legislative community, technology providers and federal agencies. He also chairs both the (ISC)² U.S Government Advisory Council and the U.S. Government Executive Writers Bureau. Mr. Waddell received the (ISC)² President’s Award in 2013.
