This exciting one-day cybersecurity summit will bring information security professionals from around the capital together to explore the latest issues impacting government cybersecurity.

    What are the (ISC)² SECURE Summits?

    A:
    New (ISC)² SECURE Summits are trends-focused collaborations that gather cybersecurity professionals together – both face-to-face and virtually - to explore and discuss the issues most pressing and relevant in each of the regional areas. Both (ISC)² members and non-members are invited to participate, and each event offers a minimum of 7 CPE credits.

    What are my options for attending an (ISC)² SECURE Summit?

    What is the age requirement for participation?

    A:
    Attendees must be 18 years or older at the time of entry to attend.

    What type of payment is accepted?

    A:
    Only credit card payments will be accepted in 2022. These credit cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
    Q:

    How will I receive updates regarding the event once registered?

    A:
    During the registration process, you will be asked a series of questions. In order to receive regular communications, you must select “YES” and agree to be updated. We recommend that you add events@isc2.org and support@digitellinc.com to your safe senders list.

    What are the requirements for student registration?

    A:
    To qualify for the student pass, you must be an active full-time student. When registering, you will be required to identify your educational institution and upload verification of your active status as a student. Licenses, passports, etc. are not acceptable forms of student verification. Student passes are available to both members and non-members and qualify for CPE credit.
    Q:

    Are discounts available for the government and military?

    A:
    Government and military discounts are available for qualified individuals. When registering, you will be required to upload a current government ID and/or verification of employment.

    How do I cancel my registration?

    A:
    To cancel, click the “modify registration’ link within your confirmation email and follow the cancellation links. If you are unable to locate your confirmation email, you may request cancellation by emailing us at events@isc2.org. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after 2 weeks prior to the event date, or no-shows. Please note, that if you do not cancel, and do not access the event, you are still responsible for payment in full. Cancellations are subject to the full event registration fee and will be issued in the form of payment received. Under no circumstances will (ISC)² be obligated to refund all or part of the registration fee. Donations to the Center for Cyber Safety and Education are non-refundable.

    Can I register for sessions in advance?

    A:
    Individual sessions do not require pre-registration. All seating, both virtually and in-person, is available on a first come first served basis.

    Will there be a mobile app?

    A:
    There will not be a mobile app for these events. Materials, CPE and evaluations will all be located on events.isc2.org. Your access will be provided approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the event start.

    How do I submit for CPE Credits if I am an (ISC)² member?

    A:
    To ensure your CPE credits are automatically posted to your (ISC)² member account, you must include your (ISC)² member number during the registration process. It will take approximately 10 business days after the event for (ISC)² to apply the earned CPE credits to your (ISC)² member account. Those who neglect to include their member ID number when registering will need to manually submit their CPEs post-conference. In the event that duplicate entries are made, it is the member’s responsibility to remove the duplicate entry. You will be able to access your personal CPE Credit Transcript / Certificate of Attendance for live event sessions at the conclusion of the event by logging into your account at https://events.isc2.org and clicking on the CPE transcripts tab.

    Are CPE requirements broken down by credential?

    A:
    (ISC)² certified members are required to earn and submit CPE credits over their three-year certification cycle. All CPE activities must be completed during the three years of each certification cycle and no later than the certification expiration date (end of certification cycle).     How do I access my certificate of attendance and CPE transcript?

    A:
    During the event, you will have access to your CPE transcript directly in the event portal at https://events.isc2.org. You will be able to print a PDF of your certificate of attendance / CPE transcript by logging in to your account at https://events.isc2.org and clicking on the CPE transcripts tab.

    How do I obtain CPE for my attendance?

    A:
    All delegates will be provided with a badge during onsite check-in that contains a QR code. To confirm your eligibility for CPE, you will need to have your badge scanned at any sessions you attend.

    What technology do I need to attend the event?

    A:
    Access to handouts, CPE and evaluations will be web-based. Supported browsers include the latest builds of Firefox, Chrome, Edge and Safari and can be accessed from both computers and mobile devices.

    Will I be able to watch the sessions I’ve missed?

    A:
    No, sessions will not be recorded.

    Will you be booking my hotel stay for this event?

    A:
    No. All delegates are responsible for booking their own travel and hotel if needed. (ISC)² is not responsible for any expenses accrued in order to attend the event.
